So proud of Sofia, yet again. Every week a student is chosen as the Shining Star (much like Student of the week). Nearing the end of the school year, Sofia had been very frustrated that she hasn't had her turn yet. Finally, it was her turn. In fact, her teacher approached me to tell me a week in advance that Sofia was going to be presented as the Shining Star, so Jay and I both wanted to be there when it happened. We were so proud of her. One of the duties of a Shining Star is to put together a photo collage of themselves...(of course I was so happy to "help out" with this part of the project). Here is the collage, Sofia's stats and a youtube video of the proud moment. There was a point where I thought Ava was going to try to steal her thunder...it all turned out perfectly. Love my girls!

yay Sofia! There's no doubt that you are the Shining Star. I also think her answer to what she wants to be when she grows up is so Sofia!
whenever you write about Sofia, I always find myself with a big silly grin on my face! she definitely is a *STAR*
