Sweet Baby Ava...

My darling Ava,

Happy Birthday Love Bug....It is amazing how quickly you've grown.  You have blessed our lives in so many ways; I thank God every day for bringing you to us.  Some of the amazing things you are doing right now include: talking in very complete sentences, asking me daily "how's your leg, Momma?", dancing on your tip tip tiptoes whenever a slow song comes on, trying all types of foods (really enjoyed Grandma Evelyn's kari-kari on your birthday), trying to make friends with all of Sofia's classmates and teachers, using the computer to "dot com" on Noggin, Disney and PBS Kids, supporting your big sister, guarding your Doggie with your life!  You are often mistaken for a four-year-old, so I think that means we have to get your Disneyland pass pretty soon.  Still need to work on the potty training, but like everything, you will pick that up quickly and then on to the next challenge.  Your favorites include the Incredibles, Super Why, Dora the Explorer, Yo Gabba Gabba and Madagascar 2, oh and pretty dresses.  Your "usuals" include spaghetti, milk and the yogurt parfait at Panera - that is part of our Friday routine (dropping off Sofia at school, our breakfast date at Panera, running errands then volunteering at Sofia's class).  You, like your sis, often say hi to other kids and adults.  You pick flowers for me all the time and I can watch you sleep for hours on end.  You are an amazing little girl and I have to pinch myself to believe how quickly you've grown.  

We enjoyed a great breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen on your birthday and later that night your Grandparents came over to bring you good-luck pancit as well as a birthday cake.  Both Grandmas keep trying to give you new "doggies" but we both know no one can replace yours.  I love you baby girl...
