Now that it's fall (meaning a few degrees cooler than summer), both Sofia's daycare & speech therapy talk a lot about apples. Sofia loves to eat them too, the challenge has been that I have to master the art of peeling the skin off without taking too much of the apple with it. (But I manage). One day on my way home, Jay called me in a panic..."Joce, you have to go to the grocery store and get apples, we ran out and Sofia is freaking" So sure enough I went and got an apple of each color for her: red, dark red, yellow & green. Sofia even has a song that she's learned about apples (with hand gestures):
Way up high in the apple tree, two little apples are smiling at me
I shook that tree as hard as I could, they both fell down....MMM They're good.
